This is NOT a photo blog...

... but apparantly, this - according to the birds and the locals - is what passes for early Spring in Moscow.

Hmmm...

(And I know it's Spring because Dawn at Little Green Fingers said so...)

  2. Brrrr. Makes me cold just looking at it. I actually don't mind the snow and the cold. It's the damp and greyness that makes me want to hide under a duvet until summer arrives!

  3. Wow! Is that actual road surface we can see in the tyre treadmarks?

  4. Still got snow. Move south! Our snow melted last week and now it is 20C. Much more like I had in mind for spring.

  5. I guess the fact that you can just about see the ground under the snow on the path might indicate that Spring is near!

You're not alone though. I talked to a friend in Oslo the other day who still had a metre of snow in the back garden.....

  10. MH, minus 25degC, that's what winter was... (so actually, since it was only -1, I suppose this probably IS spring...)

Tara, Summer? I've heard of that...

    Sharon, yes, it is! Hurrah!

Brit, helpful comments about 20degC are NOT appreciated.

NVG, a metre? Wow. Now that's impressive.

Frog - I'll mention that to him.

PlanB, in my unbiased opinion, yes.

EPM, feel free to whine as much as you like (it's always entertaining, at least!)

    Rachel, you and me both!
